Wyles' Cliff House

The Cliff House is a residential house owned by John Wyles where he stayed until he died. It appears in To the Moon and is the location where the memory traversal procedure on Johnny would commence. It is part of The Cliff. It was originally built as a dream house for River Wyles because of its proximity to the lighthouse.

History[]

Before River was ill, her then-husband Johnny had promised to her that he would build this house in order to make River's dream to be able to watch over the lighthouse come true.

However, early in its construction, River became terminally ill, and the construction cannot continue if Johnny chose to pay for her treatment.

Johnny attempted to lie to River that they had just enough money for both so she would sign the medical contract. However, she knew about their financial situation and insisted that Johnny use their money to finish building the house. Johnny had little choice but to comply.

When the house was finished, River had died. Johnny lived there alone before he brought in a caregiver, Lily Quinn, and allowed her and her children to stay in the house.

Areas[]

There are 3 different areas in this location.

1st Floor[]

This place where Tommy and Sarah plays For River early in the game using Johnny's piano. This area consists of 5 different rooms, in the center of the house is the main room or living room, in the southeast area is the kitchen, in the southwest area is the study room and in the west area is the bathroom. There are 2 stairs in the central room lead to 2nd floor and basement.

2nd Floor[]

Early in the game, this place is where Johnny were treated for his illness. This area consists of 4 different rooms, in the northeast area is some kind of hallway to the bedroom, in the center area is the main bedroom, in the southeast area is a room full of paintings by Johnny describing his life, and in the southern area is a bathroom.

Basement[]

This area is where Dr. Rosalene or Dr. Watts get to see the funny room where so many paper rabbits cluttered in floor with so many different colors. There is also a platypus doll in a desk.

The basement consists of 2 different rooms, the funny room and main basement.

Trivia[]

The locked chest in basement has no known use and cannot be opened in-game.
